Movie buffs, music lovers and multi-generational families will get transported to Hollywood at “Movie Magic,” the 41st annual Pops by the Sea Concert on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Avila Beach Golf Resort!

Event emcee Adam Montiel and SLO Symphony will take people of all ages on a journey through the last 50 years of famous movie scores from “West Side Story,” “The Magnificent Seven,” “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and more!

“There’s something magical about hearing iconic movie themes and scores live. The music from films like Indiana Jones or West Side Story has a timeless ability to evoke emotion, transporting us back to those unforgettable moments on screen and in our lives,” said Montiel, host of the Up+Adam podcast. “At Pops by the Sea, it’s about celebrating the power of orchestral music to stir nostalgia and connect us all through these shared musical and cinematic experiences.”
