Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo County is offering summer hours at both ReStore locations, giving shoppers and donors even more time to support affordable housing in San Luis Obispo County.
Beginning June 2, the San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles ReStores will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., adding an extra hour each day for shopping, donating and discovering one-of-a-kind treasures. Visit both ReStore locations at 2790 Broad Street, San Luis Obispo, and 844 9th Street, Paso Robles.
The extended hours arrive just in time for summer home improvement season, when community members are searching for affordable furniture, appliances, building materials, home décor and more. Inventory changes daily, with everything from kitchen cabinets and lighting fixtures to sofas, artwork and tools available at a fraction of retail prices.
Every purchase at the ReStore helps fund Habitat SLO’s mission to build and preserve affordable homes for local families.
“Summer is the perfect time to find a treasure at the ReStore, and now you have one more hour to do it,” said Stephanie Wright, ReStore Operations Manager for Habitat SLO. “We’re excited to welcome even more neighbors through our doors this season.”
The ReStores also provide an easy, eco-friendly way for community members to declutter or downsize. Donating gently used items keeps quality materials out of local landfills while helping support affordable housing programs throughout the county.
Summer hours will remain in effect through August 31, 2026. Both ReStore locations accept donations of gently used furniture, appliances, cabinets, tools and building materials. Donation drop-offs are welcome Tuesday through Saturday, and free bulky-item pick-up can be scheduled online at www.habitatslo.org.
