KCBX Central Coast Public Radio is hosting a Parking Lot Music Sale to raise funds on May 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in KCBX’s own parking lot in SLO. There will be thousands of music titles in vinyl and CD format available for as little as a dollar, with genres for every music lover on the Central Coast.
The sale will include music titles, stereo equipment, books and plenty of collectibles curated by Neal Losey, KCBX’s “Morning Cup” radio show host, from his own private collection, as well as from KCBX and KCPR, Cal Poly’s radio station. All funds raised at the event will go directly to supporting KCBX and KCPR.
Neal Losey, Music Director at KCBX, has been a music lover for as many decades as he’s been alive, and enjoys sharing that love with others. KCBX listeners will recognize him for his popular daily show Morning Cup and weekly Night Train.
“There will be music there you’ll know and love,” Losey said, “and there will be music you’ve never heard of, but you’ll love too.”
The event will be held at KCBX’s station at 4100 Vachell Lane in San Luis Obispo, next to the Trader Joes. More information can be found at the event page at https://www.kcbx.org/parking-lot-music-sale, or by emailing [email protected] or calling 1-800-549-8855.
