Mya is a seasoned OT who supports toddlers to teens with ADHD, Autism, SPD and trauma with 100% outdoor therapy for kids to build skills, learn and have fun. About Rooted Kids’ Nature OT: Mya combines her 19+ years as a clinical OT, EcoTherapy certification, and love for nature to offer high-quality and specialized OT services to her young clients and their families. She started her OT career in Washington, DC as a rehabilitation therapist, then transitioned to school-based services for 12 years. Her practice blossomed after the pandemic, as children grew increasingly out of balance and families realized the richness that outdoors and skilled therapy could offer. Scores of families have benefitted from her results driven, compassionate, and child-first approach.
