One Cool Earth is pleased to open invitations for community tours of Play Grove, their nature-based enrichment program for children ages three to five. Located at their central garden on Laureate Lane in San Luis Obispo, Play Grove offers families the chance to see firsthand how garden, art and outdoor exploration combine to spark early learning and joy.
Operating as an extension of One Cool Earth’s seasoned learning model, Play Grove is grounded in place-based and emergent curriculum where children learn through curiosity, discovery and play.
“Our goal is to give children the freedom to explore, while providing gentle guidance that nurtures creativity, social connection and a lifelong love of the natural world,” said Leila Daniels, Director of Education.
Families are invited to join an upcoming tour to learn more about enrollment opportunities for the 2025–2026 school year. Tours provide a chance to walk through the garden space, meet program staff and experience the playful, hands-on environment that makes Play Grove unique.
