Rancho Burro Donkey Sanctuary is honored to invite the community to a restorative afternoon of healing and harmony with its upcoming event, “Sanctuary Sound Journey with Dee DiGioia of Mindful YOUniversity!” taking place on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 12 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

About the Event: Step into a serene experience where nature, sound and gentle donkey energy come together in harmony. Facilitated by Sound Healing Practitioner Dee DiGioia, this “Sanctuary Sound Journey” is a restorative session designed to calm the mind, open the heart, and reconnect participants with the peaceful rhythms of the natural world.

Participants will be guided through a meditative soundscape featuring crystal singing bowls, chimes and other soothing instruments. The quiet presence of the sanctuary’s rescued donkeys adds a grounding and heart-centered energy, creating a truly unique and healing atmosphere unlike any studio setting.

Event Highlights:

  • Guided Sound Journey: Guests will experience a one-hour immersive sound bath led by Dee from Mindful YOUniversity. Using the power of sound frequency, this session is designed to restore the spirit and promote deep relaxation amidst the natural sounds of the sanctuary.
  • The Healing Herd: Unlike a traditional studio class, this event takes place in the presence of the sanctuary’s residents. Donkeys are known for their grounding energy, making them the perfect companions for mindfulness and meditation.
  • Refresh & Connect: Attendees are invited to enjoy a light snack and sip on refreshing beverages while meeting and connecting with the gentle rescued animals.
  • Support a Cause: All proceeds directly fund the care, rehabilitation, and medical needs of the sanctuary’s rescued donkeys and mules, including the sanctuary’s newest residents.
