The City of San Luis Obispo has partnered with PG&E to launch anew website that can help you reduce your home’s energy bill and carbon footprint.
The City of San Luis Obispo has an ambitious climate action goal to reduce municipal and community greenhouse gas emissions. XeroHome is a web-based tool that runs analysis to develop customized energy upgrade recommendations for every home.
As a SLO resident, you can use the site to find which energy upgrades are best suited for yourhome. Energy upgrades can be energy efficient, electrification, or rooftop solar options, and you can explore combinations of those for your home on the website. The site provides detailed descriptions of each upgrade, expected costs and savings, and available rebates- it can also help with taking the next step.
As an incentive, the first 100 residents to try the site will get a $10 gift card. There are no commitments in participating and the free gift is yours to keep for just trying the site. The XeroHome website has been made available for SLO residents through a collaboration between the City of San Luis Obispo and PG&E.
