Sereno 1% For Good Charitable Foundation today announced a $5,000 Community Impact Grant to support Jack’s Helping Hand, Inc. This donation will help the nonprofit continue its mission of providing critical support to children with cancer, special needs, and serious illnesses, as well as their families.
Jack’s Helping Hand provides community programs and financial assistance tailored to the unique challenges faced by children up to age 21. The organization assists local families with travel expenses for medical treatments, adaptive equipment, therapies, and access to its inclusive “Jack Ready Imagination Park,” a recreational space designed for children of all abilities.
“I’m deeply proud that we are able to support Jack’s Helping Hand with this $5,000 grant,” said Lindsey Harn. “Jack’s Helping Hand provides a lifeline for local families navigating medical and financial challenges, and their mission reflects exactly why we created 1% For Good, to invest in organizations that make our communities stronger and more compassionate.”
Since 2012, the Sereno 1% For Good Charitable Foundation has donated almost $6.5 million to nearly 600 organizations across Northern and Central California. In San Luis Obispo County alone, Sereno has contributed more than $50,000 to local nonprofits since 2023.
This $5,000 grant will help Jack’s Helping Hand continue providing essential resources, critical support, and inclusive opportunities for children and families throughout San Luis Obispo County.
