The San Luis Obispo International Film Festival (SLO Film Fest), in collaboration with Nate’s On Marsh, is thrilled to announce an exclusive fundraising event — “Endless Italian Summer” — scheduled for Saturday, September 30th from 11am to 3pm at Nate’s On Marsh.
In anticipation of its milestone 30th festival and celebrating 30 seasons of cinema in the
community, SLO Film Fest intends to take attendees on a delightful Italian journey. Rooted in
the warm and golden hues of Italian summer landscapes seen in iconic films, and touching upon
the sweet nostalgia we often associate with the end of summer, this event promises an
unforgettable afternoon of music and Italian culture. Every moment is curated to offer an
authentic Italian experience. Highlights of the event include:
● Aperitivo Hour: Begin your journey with a welcome prosecco and an assortment of antipasti as you mingle with fellow cinephiles.
● 4- Course Luncheon: Treat your palate to a curated four-course American-Italian lunch menu specially crafted by Nate’s On Marsh
● Olive Oil, Italian Wine, and Amaro Tastings: Discover the rich and diverse flavors of Italian cuisine with exclusive olive oil, wine, and amaro tastings.
● Silent Auction and Wine Pull: Take home a piece of Italy with exclusive items capturing the essence of Italian culture, available at the silent auction and wine pull.
● Live Music and Closing Social Hour: Offering a sweet and mellow end to a day of vibrant experiences, we invite attendees to linger a little longer for our Closing Social Hour to reflect and connect with a forward gaze to the promising horizon of SLO Film Fest’s future.
