While continuing to serve San Luis Obispo County during these recent unprecedented times, French Hospital Medical Center has also been celebrating its milestone 75th anniversary, and planning for the future.
On December 16 this celebration culminated in the presentation and gifting of the hospital’s 75th anniversary commemorative book to the History Center of San Luis Obispo County and Cal Poly Kennedy Library archives. French Hospital President/CEO Alan Iftiniuk also dedicated a 25-year time capsule to be buried at the healing garden next to the Swanson Family Chapel on the French Hospital campus.
Speakers at the event included San Luis Obispo Mayor Erica Stewart, SLO Chamber of Commerce CEO Jim Dantona and SLO History Center Executive Director Thomas Kessler.
