San Luis Obispo Symphony continues their 60th anniversary season with a multi-generational program on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. Celebrating Our Artists takes place in Harold Miossi Hall at the Performing Arts Center San Luis Obispo.

The program features SLO Symphony musician soloists Emily Lanzone (violin), Timothy Shanks (violin), Heidi Butterfield Yi (oboe), Carol Houchens (flute), Jessica Hoffman (English Horn), and members of the SLO Youth Symphony Concert Strings playing side by side with SLO Symphony. Tickets range from $21 to $89 and are available at PACSLO.org or by calling (805)756-4849.

Concert repertoire includes Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins in D Minor featuring Concertmaster Emily Lanzone and Timothy Shanks, Cowell’s Hymn and Fuguing Tune No. 10 for Oboe and Strings featuring Heidi Butterfield Yi, Farrenc’s Nonet in E-flat Major, Op. 38 featuring SLO Symphony principal winds and strings, Honegger’s Concerto de Camera for Flute, English Horn, and Strings featuring Carol Houchens and Jessica Hoffman, and Warlock’s Capriol Suite featuring SLO Youth Symphony Concert Strings playing side by side with the SLO Symphony.
