SLO Transit invites San Luis Obispo community members and SLO transit riders to provide input on its programs at four upcoming open house meetings at the City/County Library Community Room on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022.
“We want to hear from all community members about SLO Transit to ensure that everyone has fair and equitable access to public transportation,” said Matt Horn, City of San Luis Obispo Public Works Director. “These meetings provide an opportunity to meet with community members and SLO Transit riders, get feedback, and answer any questions on proposed service changes and other programs.”
SLO Transit is seeking to engage the community to ensure that minority, low-income and limited-English speaking persons are involved in transit decisions and programming. Public meetings, hearings, and open houses like these are held regularly at familiar and centralized locations with public transportation access and at convenient times.
Each open house meeting will cover a different topic:
- SLO Transit Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program Updates
- September 8 at 1 p.m.
- September 8 at 5 p.m.
- SLO Transit Title VI Program Updates
