The San Luis Obispo Wind Orchestra presents a free Chamber Concert on Sunday, February 25th, at 3 p.m. at the Atascadero United Methodist Church at 11605 El Camino Real, Atascadero, CA. 93422.
The SLO Wind Orchestra is renowned for its exceptional musicianship and dedication to captivating audiences of all ages. This year’s Chamber Concert promises to be no exception, showcasing extraordinary talents and a wide range of ensembles. A double-wind quintet will be performing Charles Gounod’s “Petite Symphonie,” the audience will be delighted by various other small ensembles showcasing their mesmerizing performances such as the Pegasus Ensemble which will captivate with the enchanting tones of two flutes, performing three captivating scenes. The Wind in the Reeds Clarinet Ensemble will leave an impression with their impeccable skills, presenting the delightful “Licorice Stick Suite” and the timeless classic “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes.” Come enjoy these ensembles and more.
