The San Luis Obispo Wind Orchestra is pleased to announce their upcoming concert “Notes of Triumph” on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 3PM at Cuesta College’s Harold J. Miossi CPAC. Under the direction of Maestro Jennifer Martin, the orchestra will delight audiences with a diverse selection of pieces, including Hanson’s Overture and love duet from “Merry Mount Suite,” Gilbert and Sullivan’s Pineapple Poll, Giroux’s One Beautiful Life and more.
Highlighting the concert is a special performance featuring the talented Shannon McNeely on the Bass Clarinet. McNeely’s virtuosic playing is sure to captivate and inspire all in attendance. “We are thrilled to present this exciting program of triumphant music to our community,” said Maestro Jennifer Martin. “Each piece has been carefully chosen to showcase the incredible talent of our musicians and bring joy to our audience.”
