Funds will benefit projects including western monarch conservation, youth and community educational programs, cultural and natural resource restoration and advocacy for the protection of this region’s wild and scenic places.

“The Butterfly Ball has always been about more than one species, it’s about the web of life that connects us all,” said Sierra Emrick, CCSPA Executive Director. “This year, we’re expanding that vision to highlight the importance of our dark skies, which are essential for the health of wildlife, from pollinators to migratory birds and for the human experience of wonder.”
