The Central Coast’s top musical talent will take the stage for the 2025 New Times Music Awards Showcase on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the SLO Brew Rock Event Center (855 Aerovista Place, San Luis Obispo).
The annual New Times Music Awards celebrate exceptional local musicians and songwriters across multiple genres, including Rock/Alternative, Country/Americana/Folk, Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B/Blues, Open, Songwriting and more. First-place winners in each category receive the coveted “Newtie” trophy and compete for the Best Live Performance Award, judged by a panel of industry professionals. Second-and third-place winners receive plaques.
This year’s showcase will feature live performances from all first-place winners, including: The Flower Machine, Harmony Chabot, Miss Leo, The Vargo Paradox, Gehrig Kniffen, Hot 45, Dubwise Collective and Pete Pidgeon.
