The San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum is celebrating the success of its air-powered exhibit, the Amazing Airmaze. Funded by a grant from the Harold J. Miossi Charitable Trust, Amazing Airmaze is a large open-ended exhibit inviting kiddos to experiment with the tremendous power of air, make predictions, test theories and solve problems. It also encourages children and their adults to play together and resolve challenges.
This support from the Harold J. Miossi Charitable Trust made it possible for the Museum to complete its first-floor, science-based offerings, and continue to creatively serve the families who live on, and visit the Central Coast.
The Children’s Museum is bringing another successful and fun-filled year to a close. Tens of thousands of guests visited the Museum, many on field trip scholarships or through free-pass partnerships with local nonprofit partners. Additionally, the Museum just launched its new School Nights program, which invites all county public elementary schools to visit free-of-charge for “their” night.
