A local business owner has been selected as a member of the 2026 Air Force One Detailing Team at The Museum of Flight. The project is completed entirely through volunteer effort. Justin Archer, owner of West Coast Detailing LLC, will travel to Seattle in late July to participate in the week-long preservation project. The annual effort focuses on maintaining and protecting some of the most important aircraft in aviation history. Each year, only a limited number of detailers are chosen for the team.

During the project, the team will work on iconic aircraft, including the Boeing VC-137B (SAM 970), one of the first jet-powered presidential aircraft used as Air Force One; the Lockheed C-141 Starlifter; Concorde G-BOAG; the first Boeing 727 prototype; and the Lockheed 1049G Super Constellation. The Detail Mafia organizes the annual effort and focuses on maintaining and protecting some of the most important aircraft in aviation history.
