slo repThe San Luis Obispo Repertory Theatre is proud to present Neil Simon’s Pulitzer Prize winning comedy/drama LOST IN YONKERS. Set in 1942 Yonkers, New York, the play is a poignant, yet hilarious, family drama about survival. Winner of the 1991 Pulitzer Prize for drama, the play follows the adventures, trials and comic tribulations of two young brothers who are sent to live with their stern grandmother when their father takes to the road as a salesman. The play, which debuted to overwhelming critical acclaim, is considered one of Neil Simon’s best works. It explores themes of family, independence, courage, and the complex relationship people have with those they love. In addition to winning the Pulitzer Prize for drama, LOST IN YONKERS also nearly swept the Tony Awards and Drama Desk Awards for its Broadway debut, including winning Best Play.

LOST IN YONKERS is directed by Suzy Newman and features the talents of Elliot Peters, Phineas Peters, Kerry DiMaggio, Gregg Wolff, Patty Thayer, Mike Fiore and Jacqueline Hildebrand. The show runs May 4-20, 2018, Wednesdays-Sundays at 7 pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 pm.
