The SLO Chamber celebrates member, San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport’s new flight to Denver, Colorado with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

 

San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport (SBP) serves areas as far north as Southern Monterey County and as far south as Northern Santa Barbara County. The airport offers convenient access to and from the Central Coast. Beginning in 2017, residents and visitors will have the choice of three commercial airlines with flights to Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle and Denver. The airport is also home to full-service general aviation and corporate facilities.

 

United Airlines’ flight between San Luis Obispo and Denver will be operated by SkyWest Airlines and the connection with Denver will open up more than 1,000 new routes to 150 destinations. The 2.5-hour flight from San Luis Obispo to Denver is the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport’s longest flight; according to the Tribune.
