The SLO Chamber welcomes new member, Kick-it Points, with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Kick-it Points is an app that allows users to get deals to local eateries for participating in activities, attending events, and even for doing daily tasks such as working out in the recreation center or studying at the library.

For example, a business could promote a buy one get one free deal on the top of Bishop Peak. When a consumer uses Kick-it Points they’ll see that they can get a reward if they go hiking. So they go on a hike with their friends and when they get to the location they can claim the reward. If they aren’t near the actual location where the deal is, they won’t be able to claim it. Once claimed, users will be free to use their discount by going into the featured business and redeeming the deal through the server/cashier; according to their website.
