The Sanitarium bed and breakfast at 1716 Osos St. could soon return to its late 1980’s glory days as a sorority house. Kappa Kappa Gamma is leasing the building and has applied for a use permit to allow up to 10 residents to live in the building that housed Alpha Omicron Pi sorority during the late 1980’s to the early 2000’s when it was taken over by a fraternity. It was remodeled into a bed and breakfast in 2005. KKG opened the Cal Poly chapter in January 2013. The historic building served as a sanitarium hospital from 1895 to 1912.
