In response to the Stipulated Order of Abatement (SOA) #17-01 with the SLO County Air Pollution Control District (APCD), California Department of Parks and Recreation (State Parks) submitted the Oceano Dunes SVRA Concept Draft Particulate Matter Reduction Plan (DPMRP) on February 1 with a revised draft submitted on February 21.

On February 25, the SLO County APCD and Scientific Advisory Group (SAG) issued their preliminary review letters. The DPMRP, and all supporting letters and attachments are now available on the SLO County APCD website for public review and comments.

Another version of the DPMRP, with the requested changes from SLO County APCD and the SAG, will be issued by State Parks by the end of March 2019 for public review and comment prior to a public workshop in May.

SLO County APCD invite the public to participate in an upcoming public workshop. This workshop is held at 6 p.m. May 1, 2019 at South County Regional Center in 800 West Branch Street, Arroyo Grande. The workshop will provide an opportunity to review the DPMRP, solicit public feedback and discuss next steps.
