Celebrate National Fire Prevention Week at The Downtown SLO Farmer’s Market on Thursday, October 12th from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM. The theme for this year’s Fire Prevention Week is “Every Second Counts, Plan Two Ways Out.”
“Fire Prevention Night is the best way for children and residents to participate in the many public safety activities and efforts of our local fire and emergency services,” says Rachel Maiorino, special events manager with Downtown SLO.
The event will feature firefighters from all over San Luis Obispo County showing off their latest fire safety equipment. Participating agencies will have interactive displays and booths. This event is free, family friendly and open to the public. The event will take place on Higuera Street between Nipomo and Osos.
