Farr, a local girl from Templeton CA invented the ‘virtual Stethoscope’ here in San Luis Obispo and is starting to get National attention for her invention. Farr, last month in April just won two National Awards. The first award was through the American Nurses Association with the Nurse Innovator Award and People’s Choice award. With this award came a prize of $5,000 and National recognition. Then 2 days later Farr and House Calls Mobile®️were awarded another award, this time through Pipeline Angels. This award, the Female entrepreneur Award is worth up to $150,000 in seed Angel investment money. According to Farr, she intends to use the seed investment to “Complete the House Calls Mobile ®️ research study for FDA approval”. Plans are for FDA approval to be completed this time next year.

In addition, this medical device has caught the attention of the ‘First Look SoCal Showcase’ where Farr will be presenting among “SoCal’s top research labs and institutions” on another National stage for “breakthrough technologies”. Farr was one of only 30 companies in California selected to showcase in front of ‘shark tank’ type investors.
