Make Mother’s Day weekend an epic “musical” memory with Opera San Luis Obispo’s grand production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel. There will be two performances, one on May 7 at 2 p.m. and one on May 8 at 2 p.m. at Performing Arts Center San Luis Obispo.

You’ve not experienced musical theatre until you see it produced by a grand opera company, and OperaSLO’s production promises to thrill and wow patrons moment-to-moment with expansive sets and costumes, ballet, chorus, and an internationally acclaimed leading cast.

The production will be directed by Zach Johnson, choreographed by Drew Silvaggio, costumed by Barbara Abbot, with new sets by Ian Peggs, all accompanied by the full OperaSLO Grand Orchestra conducted by Brian Asher Alhadeff.
