Of the participating High School Students during the 2012-2013 school year 50 percent have improved their feelings of social acceptance, 50 percent have improved their academic confidence, and 60 percent have improved their attitudes toward risk.

“We are delighted that PG&E so generously promotes asset development in the most vulnerable children in our community,” said Big Brothers Big Sisters Executive Director, Anna Boyd Bucy.

PG&E officials will be visiting the program at the Nipomo Elementary Campus (190 East Price Street, Nipomo) on February 28 from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. to see the program and do an activity with the children.
