Local caterer, Zest it Up Inc, will host a “friendsgiving” styled Pop-Up dinner at a secret location in San Luis Obispo County on Saturday, November 19 with all ticket proceeds going to Family Care Network Inc and the work they do in our community.
The dinner is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $85 each, and are available at shop.zestitup.com/event/zesty- pop-up-dinner/. Prior events have sold out.
As a San Luis Obispo County-based business, Zest it Up passionately believes that community is contagious and the strength that comes from it is boundless.
“This strength is the kind that lifts up those who struggle and knits them more intricately into the fabric of our community,” said Zest it Up Co-President Chanda Brown. “Those without a voice, are given a voice. Consequently, they find themselves diving deeper and calling more people out to connect and support local organizations that are making an impact in our little community, like Family Care Network, Inc.”

Zest it Up is so very excited to announce the first of four seasonally inspired Zesty Pop Up Dinners this November 19 to benefit FCNI.
“Wait, what is a pop up dinner?” you may ask. Here is the long and the short of it: it is one of the newer food trends igniting all over the country. Essentially, it’s the creation of a pop-up restaurant in a unique space that–in our case–will be open for one night only. A pop-up dinner is a unique dining experience which lends itself beautifully to the enjoyment of fine food, adventure and the community that happens around the table. After all, when have you known the chatter of foodies and oenophiles around the table to not be electric and passionate? And add to all of this, the amazing support being given to the children, youth and families cared for by FCNI!
So we ask,“Wanna be friends?” For the Fall Pop Up Dinner, Zest it Up is throwing a “friendsgiving” at a secret location to celebrate their love of community, great food, fabulous wine, fresh music, and the Family Care Network.
