The San Luis Obispo Symphony‘s Pops by the Sea will return to Avila Beach Golf Resort on Sept. 2, 2023. This year’s theme: Celebrating The Central Coast. SLO Symphony invites music-lovers of all ages to laze in the summer sun and soak up the Central Coast.
The first half of this season-opening Pops concert will honor popular and patriotic works by Dudley Buck, John Williams, Leroy Anderson, Michael W Smith, and John Philip Sousa.
The second half welcomes local singer and songwriter, Damon Castillo and his band. The emcee’s for this event will be the entire KSBY Daybreak team, Genelle Padilla, Vivian Rennie, and Neil Herbert.
Gates open at 2:45 p.m. and music begins at 4 p.m. Tickets will be available in the lobby during the Symphony’s May 6 concert at the Performing Arts Center and at my805tix.com.
Parking is free. Parking passes will be attached to every printable ticket, and available while parking. No outside drinks are permitted and ice chests will be inspected upon entry.
Limited table seating is available for $80 a seat at tables of 10. Lawn seating is $25 for adults and $15 for minors ages 13 to 17. Children under 13 are free with a paying adult.
