Ladies and gentlemen, start your search engines and navigate your browsers to the SLO Concours website to register your antique, classic or unique vehicle for the forthcoming 2014 San Luis Obispo Concours, held on the weekend of June 6 through 8. Early registration ends April 8.
Those entering judged automobiles, non-judged automobiles, vintage trailers and wooden boats, will save $20 on their registration if they register early. Motorcycle entries will save $10. All vehicle entry applications for judging must be submitted by May 9 while entries for exhibition-only (non-judged) vehicles must be submitted by May 31.
The SLO Concours Main Event on June 8 takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Meadows adjacent to the Madonna Inn. Thousands of people come out to see the collection of rare and classic vehicles. This year’s event will highlight two featured marques: Mustang, in honor of the brand’s 50th anniversary, and Mercedes-Benz, which has a heritage linking it to the first automobile. During the event, vendors will offer a variety of food, wine, beer, other refreshments and entertainment.
Leading up to the main event are a welcome reception on June 6 and both the San Luis Obispo Concours Rally and a dinner and auction on June 7.
