The SLO Chamber celebrated the opening of Dunites Wine Company’s new tasting room in downtown San Luis Obispo.

Dunites Wines was started in 2015 by husband and wife team Rachel Goffinet Eck and Tyler Eck. They are a small wine brand named after an eclectic group of 1930s metropolitan refugees known as the Dunites who settled in the beach dunes of San Luis Obispo county.

While Dunites Wines has been widely distributed since its inception, the 650 square foot tasting room is a new adventure for the experienced team. Together, the pair has worked more more than a dozen wineries and vineyards around the world and say the people, cultures and wines have influenced their unique approach to growing and making wine.
