The SLO Chamber celebrates member, Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Founded in 1989, the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County distributes millions of pounds of food throughout the county by working with a network of more than 200 community and agency partners. Every year, the Food Bank serves 44,000 residents in SLO County who are food insecure, often not knowing where their next meal will come from. According to their website, The Food Bank also administers 10 programs including over 50 countywide mobile distributions to make food available to those in need.
