SESLOC Federal Credit Union has scheduled a new presentation as part of its financial education seminar series. Financial Success for Twenty-Somethings will help young people build a solid financial future by reviewing key success factors like credit, taxes, and spending plans. This seminar will be presented at the SESLOC headquarters in San Luis Obispo on August 12 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.

Attendees can expect the seminar to cover topics including credit pointers and pitfalls, creating a spending plan, boosting savings by paying less in taxes, and the four rules of financial success.

Geri LaChance, SESLOC president/CEO said the financial education seminars are offered to help SESLOC members with important financial decisions.

“Starting early is the key to building a solid financial future,” said LaChance. “Whether you’re headed to college, starting your career, or establishing your home and family, financial well-being will rule your life.”

Nearly 200 people have attended similar seminars since the start of the year. SESLOC’s San Luis Obispo headquarters is located at 3855 Broad Street.

The seminar is free but registration is required. Visit sesloc.org for more information.
