The San Luis Obispo County YMCA received a generous donation from SESLOC Federal Credit Union for their Camp THRIVE program. Camp THRIVE is a free summer day camp run in partnership with the San Luis Coastal Unified School District.
The camp focuses on closing the learning gap for at-risk youth by providing academic curriculum, enrichment activities, and field trips that promote fun summer learning. Monica Grant, CEO of the Y said, “Camp Thrive is changing the lives of 80 kids this summer. The Y is so grateful to SESLOC for their commitment to youth development”.
