Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center and Twin Cities Community Hospital now offer patients the option to view some of their health information online. My Health Rec empowers patients to better manage their medical records from the convenience of their own computer or smart device.
The patient portal is a secure, web-based tool that allows patients to view, download and electronically transmit up-to-date medical information to their physicians. Initially, the program will only be available to inpatients and will include lab results and other health related information. Parents will also be able to enroll their minor children and access their accounts.
Patients can easily establish a My Health Rec account upon admission at either Sierra Vista or Twin Cities Hospital. Once their account has been activated, patients can access the portal by visiting www.SierraVistaRegional.com or www.TwinCitiesHospital.com and clicking on My Health Rec.
Sierra Vista and Twin Cities first implemented electronic health records in 2011 in response to the national call to action to enhance America’s healthcare. My Health Rec is a continuation of those efforts and will help to enhance patients’ overall healthcare experiences.
