The Central Coast Aquarium (CCA) welcomes budding marine scientists to its inaugural Winter Break Sea Explorers Day Camp beginning in January 2019. With many local schools on break well into January this year, CCA has created a day camp schedule to meet needs of parents looking for some extracurricular fun for their children with a special focus on marine science education.
Campers spend their time engaged in hands-on marine science activities such as marine habitat exploration, interacting with live animals in Exhibit Hall and participating in various learning labs in classroom. This camp is designed for campers 5 to 10 years of age for half day or full day programs.
Winter Break Camp begins January 2 and runs through January 11 at the Central Coast Aquarium in Avila Beach. Central Coast Aquarium Members receive a discounted rate. Join now and receive a discount for Winter Camp, too.
Don’t delay, as spaces are limited! For more information, please visit centralcoastaquarium.com or call Central Coast Aquarium directly at 805-595-7280 and ask to speak to Travis Norton, Director of Program.
