slcusd logoSan Luis Coastal Unified School District (SLCUSD) will begin giving site tours to members of the community who are interested in seeing operations and facilities. The tours are being offered on the heels of the district’s unveiling of the Facility Master Plan, which identifies $370 million in construction, upgrades and repairs that are needed among SLCUSD sites. A $177 million bond measure has been placed on the November ballot, which would address many of the school board’s master plan priorities if approved by voters.

Site tours will be led by the principals at their respective campuses. Tours last two hours and will include site walk-throughs. Reservations are not necessary but participants are asked to arrive 5-10 minutes ahead of the start of each tour, as tours will start promptly at 10 a.m.

The Facilities Master Plan identifies specific needs to improve safety, modernize outdated facilities and prepare students for joining the workforce of the 21st century. You can view the complete plan at a new interactive website found here: www.slcusd.org/fmp
