Join San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden on Wednesday, June 5 from noon to 2 p.m. in welcoming local jewelry artist Leslie Nelson for a hands-on creative and informative workshop. All materials and guidance provided at this intimate class appropriate for children and adults. Leave with three hand-crafted rings, first one crafted from brass and the others can be sterling silver. A large selection of gemstone beads will be provided. Additional rings can be made, time permitting, for an additional fee of $5 each.

Leslie Nelson lives on the Central Coast of California. Her love of gemstones began as a natural extension of a fascination with physics and geology. She began making gemstone jewelry 14 years ago. Leslie is the owner and creative force behind Raea Jewelry, available in local stores and online.

San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden is celebrating its 30th year of sowing seeds and growing together. The Garden is located at 3450 Dairy Creek Rd. It is spread out on 150 acres in El Chorro Regional Park off Highway 1 between Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo.
