SLO Brewing Company may soon be opening a larger brewing facility near the airport. At their February 2 meeting the Architectural Review Commission approved the construction of a building to be used as a brewery and tasting room at 855 Aero Vista Lane. Ventura-based ceviche and fish taco restaurant Spencer Makenzie’s Fish Company will open its first San Luis Obispo location in the spring of 2015. The restaurant will open at 1085 Higuera St., a location that has been unoccupied for nearly three years, and was previously occupied by Fat Cat’s, and Baja Fresh.
