SLO Provisions in San Luis Obispo recently introduced Cody Thomasson as their new executive chef. Prior to joining SLO Provisions, he was the Executive Estate Chef at Daou Vineyards and Winery in Paso Robles. From 2012 until 2017 he was the Chef de Cuisine at the award-winning Bravas de Tapas in Healdsburg. He is a graduate of the Scottsdale Culinary Institute: Le Cordon Bleu.  While he has extensive knowledge and expertise in Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine, Chef Thomasson also has comfort food influences from the cooking of both of his grandmothers.

“Of course, we will continue to bring you the same fresh, locally sourced food that you’ve enjoyed over the past five years,” said co-owner, Dwyne Willis “and watch for some exciting additions to the menu in the near future.” Thomasson replaces Chef Sam Williams who recently moved out of state with his family.

Opened in 2015 by Steve Bland and Dwyne Willis, SLO Provisions is an all-day café and gourmet market. It is located at 1255 Monterey Street at the corner of Monterey and Johnson in the “Mojo District.”
