Leading the lineup is Renaissance Rap – The New Land of the Giants, created and hosted by Gary Conway, local natural winemaker, world renowned television and film actor, artist and writer. Gary is perhaps best known for his starring role in the iconic network television series, Land of the Giants. The radio program draws its topics, inspiration, strength, and sense of purpose from community – artists, writers, musicians, winemakers, farmers, chefs and cowboys – the individuals, merchants and small business that represent the foundation upon which societies are built around the world. Renaissance Rap features select in-studio guests, live call-ins from around the world, and even boasts occasional appearances by Hollywood celebrities.

James Davis is an engaged local community leader who actively supports and promotes nonprofits, businesses, community causes and events. Davis will host SLO Good Life, which shines the spotlight on the unique individuals, stories, lifestyles, activities and events in the San Luis Obispo County. Also in development is Vinter’s Vision, an interview-format show hosted by Jennifer Golden. Golden is a longtime advocate of the Support Local Movement. The program centers on the history of winemaking in the region, with the area’s founding winemakers sharing their memories and stories of San Luis Obispo County’s evolution as one of the most revered and world-class regions for wine production.

The growing schedule of shows can be found on the SLO Talk Radio website. The station goes live the week of July 17, 2017.
