slo-logo_11416132The City of San Luis Obispo Transit System is giving the public a sneak-peak into some of its inner workings. A series of “infographics” is being made available for distribution and on the SLO Transit website.  The first infographic illustrates the results of the recent Public Perception Survey and System Performance analysis conducted as part of the most current Short Range Transit Plan; also available online.  Other planned infographics will show a demographic breakdown of the various rider types while others will focus on operational aspects of the SLO Transit system.

Some highlights captured in the first infographic include a 95% combined “good” and “excellent” approval rating as well as 98% on-time performance for SLO Transit.

“When planning for the future, it is important to know who our customers are, how we are doing and what the trends are.  This helps to anticipate needs, make adjustments and know which areas we need to reach out to,” said Transit Manager, Gamaliel Anguiano.

This is the first in a series of infographics SLO Transit aims to put out for public consumption.
