In celebration, the Parrish and the San Luis Obispo Grocery Outlet family invites community members to attend the free, public grand opening event on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the store’s location on 1314 Madonna Road in San Luis Obispo. Participants will have a chance to mingle with store representatives and enter to win fun prizes, including a Vizio 39-inch 1080p 60Hz TV, His and Hers Electra Cruiser Bikes purchased locally at Foothill Cyclery, and free groceries for a year ($600 value). In addition, the San Luis Obispo Grocery Outlet will be donating $1,000 worth of food to the San Luis Obispo Food Bank, a testament to their commitment to helping the local community.

The Parrish’s recently held a job fair where they hired 35 new employees to join the Grocery Outlet store team.

Ribbon Cutting (Thursday, Nov. 6, 11:30 a.m.) – Join the Grocery Outlet team members for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, to be officiated by the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce. At this time, the donation to the San Luis Obispo Food Bank will also be presented.

Grand Opening (Saturday, Nov. 8, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.) – This event will be open to the public and attendees are encouraged to tour and shop at the San Luis Obispo Grocery Outlet at this time.
