The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County is pleased to announce $80,000 in new grant opportunities through the Social Innovations Fund. The Social Innovations Fund brings together private foundations, individuals, and Community Foundation funds committed to supporting San Luis Obispo County nonprofit organizations. The fund focus is to encourage new innovative programing and incubate existing programs that provide entrepreneurial mentorship and leadership development for participating clients.
Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to visit The Community Foundation website (www.cfsloco.org) for more information about this important funding opportunity to determine if their programs meet the outlined qualifications and to submit a letter of intent.

Last year, The Community Foundation awarded more than $2 million in grants and scholarships with more than 80 percent of grant funding remaining locally in San Luis Obispo County.
