Cal Poly Arts is proud to announce upcoming comedy shows at the Performing Arts Center, Iliza Shlesinger “Elder Millennial” Tour and “Whose Live Anyway?.”

Iliza Shlesinger is scheduled for April 5, 2019 at the Performing Arts Center. Shlesinger is one of today’s leading comedians, with a fan base who show their loyalty by creating their own Iliza-inspired swag to wear to her shows. Last year, she hosted her late-night limited run talk show, “Truth & Iliza,” on the Freeform network. In November 2017, she released her first book: “Girl Logic: The Genius and the Absurdity,” a subversively funny collection of essays and observations on a confident woman’s approach to friendship, singlehood, and relationships. “Elder Millennial” is her fourth Netflix stand-up special, streaming now. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, Oct. 19, 10 a.m. online; noon at the Ticket Office. Tickets start at $35, and VIP Package tickets are $145. Opening act TBA, check website for update. Adult content/language; ages 16+

“WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY?” returns to the Performing Arts Center on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018 with a 7 p.m. show that features hilarious, fast-paced improv and plenty of audience participation. It’s like TV’s “Whose Line Is It, Anyway?” but live, featuring stars from the network show: Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, and Joel Murray. Audiences will enjoy a completely improvised 90-minute show of games, scenes and songs that will tickle every bone in the body. Some lucky patrons who shout out improv suggestions will get to join the cast onstage! Don’t miss Ryan Stiles and his merry band of mischief-makers. (Ages 10+). Student and adult tickets range from $35.20 – $64. Tickets are available online and at the Ticket Office.

“The laughs came effortlessly, thanks to the four energetic and talented men on stage. “Whose Live Anyway?” is in such capable comedic hands, fans of the TV show are…guaranteed to be laughing out loud.” (Van City Buzz)
