The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County, a grantmaking and education foundation supporting charitable work across our county and beyond.
In response to the devastating fires affecting both Northern and Southern California, The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County has reopened its Disaster Support Fund and will waive all administrative fees to provide urgent assistance to organizations working on the ground in affected areas. San Luis Obispo County community members are encouraged to visit www.cfsloco.org to make contributions today to this fund.
Firefighters, first responders and charitable organizations are doing everything possible to battle the destruction of the fires and provide support to those who have been affected. Through the Disaster Support Fund, The Community Foundation provides an avenue for San Luis Obispo County residents to unite and share in supporting our neighbors throughout the state. “These hardships and misfortunes are a reminder that our community must work together to support each other in this time of need,” said Heidi McPherson, CEO of The Community Foundation. “Our thoughts are with those impacted by the fires and our gratitude is towards the generous donors offering resources.”
