The Pad Climbing hired SLOCo Pedal Taxi to provide free shuttles to “Paddies” in order to proactively address their local parking shortage and be a good neighbor. The Pad’s clients are treated to a free pedal cab ride between their parking spot and the Pad’s front door, Monday through Thursday, 4:30 to 8 p.m. Climbers who formerly were dismayed by distant parking during crunch time now arrive at the Pad with a smile thanks to their chauffeured ride. And the rainy days? Those are the busiest for the weather-outfitted pedal cab! The environmentally-minded climbers appreciate the door- to-door, pedal-powered service, and neighboring businesses appreciate the decreased parking congestion.
