Dust off those lederhosen and dirndls, the tradition of Rocktoberfest returns to SLO Brew Rock on Friday, October 11th! Plans for this year’s celebration are grander than ever before. Rally the troops for a night filled with laughter, Stein Slammer beers, German specialties, Biergarten games and live performances from local favorites, Miss Leo & Her Bluegrass Boys and Trio Internationale.
The pretzel cart rolls into the beer garden at 5:00 PM to kick start an all-you-can-eat German buffet featuring Chef Tom’s renowned schnitzel, juicy brats and sauerkraut. Guests will have the opportunity to compete for glorious prizes before dinner. Gather the strong and mighty for keg-bowling, bobbing-for-apples and brewery-bound potato sack racing before the 6:00 PM feast!
This celebration is exclusive to those of legal drinking age. Like all great beer festivals, each ticket sold comes complimented by a commemorative SLO Brew Stein and two drink tickets for fills of a clean, smooth and pale German lager. A seasonal brew, this crisp beer balances malt strength with excellent drinkability to highlight classic German malt flavors without weighing the drinker down.
For those seeking a VIP experience, five German tables will be positioned close to the stage with a designated beer maid, set to cater to any food and beverage needs. Each VIP table purchased comes with six general admission tickets to elicit the ultimate Rocktoberfest experience, worthy of friends and family.
Live music from the local folk group Miss Leo & Her Bluegrass Boys and the polka extravaganza Trio Internationale will be an all-evening affair. San Luis Obispo County’s finest good-time string band joins Miss Leo’s authentic songwriting and angelic voice with the very best bluegrass musicians in town.
Paired with the seasoned act of Trio Internationale, these live performances are guaranteed to spark a post-dinner dance party.
