––  “DR. SEUSS’ THE CAT IN THE HAT”

cat in the hatSunday, January 24, 2016 – 3 pm – Performing Arts Center

This high energy, hilarious live stage adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat – one of the most famous children’s books of all time – will performed by Childsplay, a leading national professional children’s theatre troupe.

From the moment his tall, red-and-white striped hat appears at their door, Sally and her brother know that the Cat in the Hat is the most mischievous cat they will ever meet.  Suddenly a rainy afternoon is transformed by the Cat and his antics. Can the kids clean up before Mom comes home? With some tricks (and a fish) and Thing Two and Thing One, with The Cat in The Hat, the fun’s never done!

“You can boil everything down to fun… simple and clear. The Cat wants to have fun. And so do we!” says The Cat in the Hat Director David Barker. “The show feels just as youthful and exhilarating as reading a Dr. Seuss book.” (Ages 3+)

Adult tickets: $24; student/child $12

This afternoon is sponsored by Ron Bell, Lois Cleworth, Sharon & John Dobson in memory of Carolyn J. Stalcup, Holiday Inn Express, KJUG 98.1 FM, KSBY TV, Tablas Creek Vineyard
