San Luis Obispo residents Bryan Gingg and Carol Florence were recently recognized for their long-term commitment to Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Luis Obispo County at a private reception held to thank agency supporters at Tolosa Winery & Vineyards.

Gingg celebrated 20 years of service on the agency’s Board of Directors. In 2014, he was recognized as “Big Brother of the Year” after successfully mentoring two local youth. He also began the Legacy Circle by being the first to add Big Brothers Big Sisters to his estate plans. He served briefly as executive director during the agency’s infancy.

Carol Florence, principal/planner of Oasis Associates, a San Luis Obispo based landscape architecture design group, was recognized for 10 years of dedicated service to Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Luis Obispo County and said that she is proud to be a part of the organization which is “impacting lives Little by Little.”
